Knowledge Mobilization Cycle: Use of Evidence for the Early Childhood Education and Care
SUMMA – KIX LAC

Early childhood challenges have been and continue to be addressed by various organizations in Latin America and the Caribbean, creating a valuable ecosystem of shared learning. With this new cycle, we seek to join these regional conversations, strengthening connections and promoting knowledge exchange. Our purpose is to contribute to collective strengthening by exploring innovative approaches to advance toward quality, inclusive, and equitable education from the earliest years.
Specific Objectives:
- To facilitate the acquisition of knowledge on the importance of quality early education and its impact on the integral development of children, particularly in vulnerable contexts.
- Promote the use of evidence-based educational practices and the design of inclusive strategies to improve the quality and accessibility of early education.
- Encourage intersectoral collaboration and the exchange of experiences among educational stakeholders to promote innovative policies and practices that respond to the challenges of the current economic crisis.
