PRISA Panama Programme
Programme for Integral and Socioemotional Learning Recovery – PRISA is an initiative jointly promoted by SUMMA and the Ministry of Education of Panama, and seeks to strengthen the educational policy of this country in the context of the return to face classes, providing schools and teachers with pedagogical tools that have a solid research evidence base, and that contribute to strengthening the recovery work of weakened or lost learning.

What is it?
Programme for Integral and Socioemotional Learning Recovery (PRISA) Panama
PRISA is a programme that provides the Panamanian educational system with tools that contribute to improving the teaching decisions of teachers and schools in order to make progress in the learning recovery from the beginning of the school year. In addition to the development of pedagogical resources for teachers, the programme develops a teacher training strategy and innovation proposals for schools that emerge from the most successful learning recovery programmes on our continent and in the world.

To support the strengthening of Panama’s learning recovery policy in the context of the return to face-to-face classes.

To guide the school system with respect to the implementation of effective programmes for levelling and learning recovery.

Regional scaling up: presentation of the programme at the CECC-SICA Panama meeting.
Availability of educational resources: development of a web ecosystem of educational resources for learning recovery, hosted on the Meduca portal.
