Foundational learning, a commitment
with the future
The development of foundational skills—such as literacy, mathematical thinking and social-emotional skills—forms the basis for lifelong learning and is a fundamental human right. At SUMMA, we work to ensure that every child in Latin America and the Caribbean can develop these essential skills.

Antigua Commitment for Literacy

The Antigua Commitment was promoted during the 2025 KIX LAC Regional Meeting and signed by ministers of education of the region, SUMMA and OECS.
