Knowledge Mobilization Cycle on the use of evidence in Teacher Policies and Practices

This cycle on the Use of Evidence in Teacher Policies and Practices is a process that connects evidence, policy, and action to generate systemic learning. Throughout the year, we will continue coordinating spaces for dialogue, applied workshops, and communities that make it possible to further explore the region’s challenges.
The objective is to strengthen capacities, promote regional exchange, and support decision-making through the informed use of evidence on what works, for whom, and in which contexts.
Throughout 2026, the Knowledge Mobilization Cycle will unfold through a series of interconnected activities, including webinars, workshops, interviews, audiovisual resources, and thematic newsletters, in dialogue with different institutions and actors in the education sector.
Organized around several moments and subtopics, the cycle will place the improvement of teaching at the center, while fostering reflection on how to strengthen teacher policies and practices through evidence. It will also promote the development and dissemination of knowledge, resources, and regional public goods.

Subcycle 1: Improving teaching where it happens: the classroom as a starting point
Subcycle 2: Reducing inequalities in vulnerable contexts (coming soon)
Subcycle 3: Supporting, accompanying, and scaling teaching improvement (coming soon)
