This initiative, which is being developed in 40 rural schools in Honduras and Nicaragua, seeks to train teachers to innovate in rural education and promote the integral development of students through the active learning strategy of Peer Tutoring (TeP).
The project’s objetivesare triples: a) the identification of key actors and critical factors for the adaptation and scaling up of the methodology; b) the implementation and evaluation of a pilot of the peer tutoring model, focused on improving teacher professional development processes, leadership skills for innovation and the achievement of meaningful learning for students; and c) the mobilization of evidence among key actors in the education system of both countries.
