This first meeting presents the ten working groups and discuss global challenges that will mark the policy recommendations with which the T20 will contribute to the G20. This way, SUMMA is\u00a0participating for the second consecutive year in the Think 20, which brings together leading think tank experts with the purpose of discussing global issues and advancing work plans for the elaboration of policy recommendations for the G20.<\/p>\n

It is a valuable opportunity for experts from around the world to exchange views and perspectives in order to deepen understanding of global issues and explore the best ways to address them.<\/p>\n

A special edition of the Global Solutions Journal was presented during the first day of this Inception Conference, which includes the most outstanding policy briefs developed during 2018, within the framework of the T20 Argentina. Among them is the policy brief “A new deal to finance LATAM education”, by Javier Gonz\u00e1lez and B\u00e1rbara Flores, from SUMMA, together with Santiago Cueto, from Grade and Alejandra Cardini, from CIPPEC.<\/p>\n

Japan assumes presidency of G20 2019<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n

The G20 Argentina Summit, held on November 30 and December 1, 2018 in Buenos Aires, was the closing milestone of the G20 presidency held by the trans-Andean government. During 2019, the government of Japan will be in charge of presiding over this instance, promoting discussions aimed at resolving the challenges faced by the international community.<\/p>\n
