Descripci\u00f3n corta del evento<\/strong>:<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Organizado con el Ministerio de Educaci\u00f3n y Cultura de Uruguay (MEC) y la la Fundaci\u00f3n Ceibal, el evento de lanzamiento mundial reunir\u00e1 a ministros de educaci\u00f3n y a ministros de tecnolog\u00edas de la informaci\u00f3n y comunicaciones, representantes de organizaciones internacionales y regionales, donantes, padres, docentes, estudiantes y representantes de la sociedad civil y del sector privado.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

On July 26, the world’s leading education experts will meet in Montevideo, Uruguay, for the global launch of the 2023 Global Education Monitoring Report on technology and education, co-sponsored by the Ceibal Foundation and the Ministry of Education and Culture. of Uruguay (MEC). During the event, ministers of education from Latin America and Africa, experts and members of the educational community will reflect on the main messages and recommendations of the 2023 GEM Report. Following the launch, a series of side events will be organized on July 27 and 28 to discuss some of the key issues addressed in this report.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The report will address the divisions surrounding the role of technology in education, exploring its potential solutions to educational challenges and acknowledging that proposed solutions may also present risks.<\/p>\n
