To this end, the topic of gender and public education was addressed considering the following dimensions:<\/p>\n<p>(i) Curriculum and school materials (textbooks and educational resources).<br \/>\n(ii) Teacher training (pedagogical practices and discourses)<br \/>\n(ii) School coexistence<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #008080;\">Main achievements: <\/span><\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Participants <strong>a<\/strong><\/span><b>cquired new knowledge and skills<i>,<\/i><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> including GESI <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">(Gender Equality and Social Inclusion<\/span><\/i><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">)<\/span><\/i><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\">Participants identified <strong>policy and practice options from the KIX LAC research and learning exchanges<\/strong> that were relevant to the needs and priorities of their education system.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\">They were also able to <strong>identify areas of collaboration based on similar interests, challenges and educational priorities<\/strong> within the country or at the regional level.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Attendees <strong>shared the knowledge gained through KIX activities with other colleagues<\/strong> in government, research institutions and civil society and made use of the research and activities conducted within the HUB.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #008080;\">\ud83c\udfa5 Community of practice sessions<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>The community of practice held five virtual meetings with the participation of speakers from multiple international organizations.
