Community of Practice Gender equality perspective in public education <\/em>was developed between 2021 and 2022 and had the general objective of facilitating meeting spaces for representatives of the different countries of KIX LAC to share experiences and mobilize knowledge on this issue in the field of education. To this end, the topic of gender and public education was addressed considering the following dimensions:<\/p>\n

(i) Curriculum and school materials (textbooks and educational resources).
\n(ii) Teacher training (pedagogical practices and discourses)
\n(ii) School coexistence<\/p>\n

Main achievements: <\/span><\/h3>\n
    \n
  1. Participants a<\/strong><\/span>cquired new knowledge and skills,<\/i><\/b> including GESI <\/span>(Gender Equality and Social Inclusion<\/span><\/i>)<\/span><\/i><\/li>\n
  2. Participants identified policy and practice options from the KIX LAC research and learning exchanges<\/strong> that were relevant to the needs and priorities of their education system.<\/li>\n
  3. They were also able to identify areas of collaboration based on similar interests, challenges and educational priorities<\/strong> within the country or at the regional level.<\/li>\n
  4. Attendees shared the knowledge gained through KIX activities with other colleagues<\/strong> in government, research institutions and civil society and made use of the research and activities conducted within the HUB.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
