{"id":85038,"date":"2020-08-01T16:52:18","date_gmt":"2020-08-01T20:52:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/summaedu.org\/?p=85038"},"modified":"2025-11-03T20:20:50","modified_gmt":"2025-11-03T23:20:50","slug":"publications","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/summaedu.org\/en\/news\/kix\/publications\/","title":{"rendered":"Publications"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/summaedu.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/eng-publications.webp\" width=\"477\" height=\"82\" \/><\/h2>\n<p>Convinced of the importance of consolidating a regional agenda of educational policies in Latin America and the Caribbean, SUMMA and OECS have promoted a series of research projects with experts from the countries of the region, under the common denominator \u201cChallenges and opportunities in the educational systems of the KIX LAC member countries\u201d. As a result of this research, the development of a series of National Country Studies was proposed for the purpose of updating the educational diagnosis of each country and identifying the difficulties, strengths, challenges and current priorities faced by the countries that make up the KIX LAC: Dominica, El Salvador, Grenada, Guatemala, Guyana, Haiti, Honduras, Nicaragua, Saint Lucia and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.\u00a0This series of working papers focuses on six thematic areas prioritized by KIX such as: (i) early childhood education, (ii) learning assessment systems, (iii) gender equality, (iv) strengthening of data systems, (v) equity and inclusion, and (vi) teaching and learning. It is hoped that this series of working documents will continue to encourage reflection and public policy dialogue, promote a regional collaboration agenda that will strengthen learning environments
